Sublime started in 1988 as three musicians and a dog. They were a garage band for their first 4 years, then they released their first album. The first album they relaesed was 40 oz.s to freedom. It was a record that didnt sell that much. It got more sales as Sublime progressed and became a better band with better sound. Even though the first album includes many Sublime classics including: "badfish", "date rape", 40 oz.s to freedom", and smoke two joints". This album was made in the studio rather than home studios. The second album was robbin the hood. It includes classics like: "saw red", "pool shark". It was recorded in a home studio. It was made to keep a poduct out on the market. While they made it they included special secret songs. Its a great album. The third was their self titled album. It includes all the modern hits including: "santiria", What I got", doin' time", "wrong way", and "carees me down". This album is a sublime classic. The fourth album needs no introduction. It has all the sublime classics in one album. Its a good buy If you want only the classics. The last album is all teh sublime songs played live. Its great considering how good sublime is live.
